Advocacy

Our organization is dedicated to advocating for the rights and well-being of African Caribbean Queer Refugees. Through legal representation and lobbying efforts, we strive to create a more inclusive and accepting society for our community.

Sensitization

We conduct sensitization programs to raise awareness about the unique challenges faced by African Caribbean Queer Refugees. By fostering understanding and empathy, we aim to eliminate discrimination and promote a more inclusive environment.

Community Engagement

We are committed to building a strong network of support for our community. Through events, workshops, and support groups, we create a safe and inclusive space for African Caribbean Queer Refugees to connect, share experiences, and build lasting relationships.

HIV Education, Linkage to Care and STI testing

Stichting Love Planet, in collaboration with the GGD, prioritizes HIV education, linkage to care, and STI testing as essential components of our work. Our initiatives focus on raising awareness, reducing stigma, and ensuring accessible sexual health services, particularly for LGBTIQ+ individuals in asylum centers across the northern Netherlands (Overijssel, Drenthe, Groningen, and Friesland). Through innovative approaches—such as integrating health services in inclusive social settings—we provide free STI testing, HIV counseling, and hepatitis vaccinations, fostering a safe and supportive environment where individuals can access the care they need without fear or discrimination.
